As a fully indigenous Nigerian company; our base currency has been the NGN (naira); which has continuously been devalued against the $ (US dollar) - This does not change the fact that we acquire most of our data and associated cloud services in the Foreign hard currency and also in parallel market rates in most cases.
Subsequently, we have decided to commence a transition from price concession of our TLD domains to the standard international and parallel market rates which matches the USD (US dollar).
In order to seize the advantage of this price concession before its deadline on the 4th of June 2022 ; all customers are advised to follow these steps :
- Renew the expiry dates on your existing domain registrations by extending registrations from 1 year to 3, 5 or 10 years (or as your budget is convenient)
- Register or reserve your next domain for more than the typical 1 year registration to 3, 5 or 10 years (or as your budget is convenient)
If you decide to take one or both of the options above before the 4th of June 2022 deadline; you will have saved your future domain renewal costs by up to 150%, 250% and 500% for 3, 5 to 10 years respectively.
We appreciate your business and want you to continue growing without being affected by the local economic realities of your local currency rates or country.
